The 3RT contactors are suitable for use in any climate. They are safe from touch to DIN VDE 0106 Part 100. The 3RT contactors are available screw, spring-type, or ring lug connections. An auxiliary contact is integrated in the basic unit of size S00 contactors. The basic units of sizes S0 to S3 only contain the main conducting paths. All the basic units can be extended with auxiliary switch blocks. Cabinet units with 2 NO + 2 NC (terminal designations acc. to EN 50 012) are available as of size S0; the auxiliary switch block is removable.

Features

  • 3RT2 contactors can be retrofitted with RC elements, varistors, suppressor diodes or diode assemblies (assembly of diode and Zener diode for short break times) for damping opening surges in the coil
  • Space is provided for them next to a snap-on auxiliary switch block
  • Contactors in size S00, S0 and S2 can be used to configure star-delta (wye-delta) starters simply by plugging in function modules, these can also be equipped with an AS-i or IO-Link interface as an option, which significantly reduces the control circuit wiring
  • 5 hp at 200/208 VAC, 7-1/2 hp at 220/230 VAC, 15 hp at 460/480 VAC, 20 hp at 575/600 VAC
