The carriages are of a compact and low design. As with the closed carriage, the bearings are installed with 2 concentric spigots and 2 eccentric spigots which means a running clearance or light pre-load can be obtained by simple adjustment. Track roller bearings are either carbon chrome steel or stainless steel.
